Reader email list
If you voluntarily join the August Devereux reader list, we store the email address you provide, the signup date, the page where you joined, and the version of the consent language you accepted. We use it only for occasional release news, free fiction, and reader notes. We do not sell or rent the list, and joining is never required to read the free story.
You can leave the list at any time on the unsubscribe page. We retain the minimum record needed to honor that request and avoid resubscribing the address without a new opt-in.
Audience measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated visits, page views, outbound Amazon clicks, reader-list signups, and anonymous “I want more” signals. The Google tag starts with analytics storage denied, so it sends measurement without analytics cookies unless you choose to allow them. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalisation remain disabled.
You can review or change your choice at any time through “Analytics settings” in the footer. Your choice is stored only in that browser.
